50 years old, Akiko is a caring, loving, cultivated and polite woman, yet also a bit severe at times, very formal and rigid about good social behaviour. Serious and responsible, oldest of several children, she has quickly learned to care about everything and everyone, often at her own expense. She has only one wish for herself, her dearest dream, which she still hasn't been able to achieve.

18 years old, Eric is arrogant, agressive and very influencable. Introspection and responsibility are total strangers to him. Yet he has a good soul, somewhere... but so deeply burried underneath his brutality and immaturity that he couldn't find it, not even with a GPS. He carries a heavy burden, a secret, which weighs him way more than he would ever admit to anyone, let alone himself. Same goes to the fact that he can't bear neither the life he's leading right now nor the wrong choices he made a few years ago.
